Virtual Launch Reading for GALA by Lynne Shapiro and Q & A with Solitude Hill Press publisher Vasiliki Katsarou

A reading from GALA, a poetry chapbook by Lynne Shapiro. GALA is the first book published by Solitude Hill Press, the Hunterdon County-NJ based press cofounded by poet Vasiliki Katsarou. Lynn Shapiro’s “formally accomplished but playfully experimental” poems have been published in more than 200 journals and magazines. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee, an arts educator, and was once an assistant to Susan Sontag. Her time spent working at the Whitney Museum in the 1980s is the starting point of this suite of poems about muses, museums and the bad boys of the art world.
