Get ready to learn and write Dada, Découpé, Blackout, Erasure, Centos, and Acrostic poetry!
Participants will examine different types of found poetry based on the article “6 Ways to Turn Anything into a Found Poem.” Afterwards, participants will go create their own poem based on the six examined types of found poetry, or any variant they research or create on their own.
Mark Esperanza, MFA, is a writer from Edcouch-Elsa of the Rio Grande Valley. He currently lives in Edinburg, TX, and teaches English at PSJA Early College High School. Esperanza has published poetry, short stories, and educational research in multiple anthologies and collections.
