Join Alongside and Lostintheletters for a special virtual reading featuring Caroline Crew, Hilary Leichter, Kalani Pickhart, and Jessica Q. Stark on Wednesday, March 23rd from 7:30-8:30 PM EST on Zoom.

Caroline Crew is the author of the essay collection Other Girls to Burn (University of Georgia Press, 2021), winner of the AWP Prize for Nonfiction, as well as the poetry collection PINK MUSEUM (Big Lucks). She holds a PhD from Georgia State University, as well as an MA from the University of Oxford and an MFA from UMass-Amherst. Currently, she is a Visiting Professor at Warren Wilson College. Hilary Leichter is the author of the novel Temporary, which was shortlisted for The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize and longlisted for the PEN/Hemingway Award. Her writing has appeared in n+1, The New Yorker, Harper’s, The New York Times, and Conjunctions. She teaches fiction at Columbia University. Her next two novels are forthcoming from Ecco.

Kalani Pickhart is the author of the novel, I WILL DIE IN A FOREIGN LAND (Two Dollar Radio). She currently lives in Phoenix, AZ.

Jessica Q. Stark is a poet and educator living in Jacksonville, Florida. Her first full-length poetry collection, Savage Pageant, was published by Birds, LLC in 2020 and was named one of the ‘Best Poetry Books of 2020’ in the Boston Globe and in Hyperallergic. She is the author of four poetry chapbooks, including INNANET (2021, The Offending Adam). Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Best American Poetry, The Southeast Review, The Boiler, Pleiades, Poetry Daily, Verse, The Seneca Review, Carolina Quarterly, wildness, Hobart Pulp, Tupelo Quarterly, Glass Poetry Journal, and others. She is a Poetry Editor for AGNI and the Comics Editor for Honey Literary. She teaches at the University of North Florida.
